Muni's Play(२) पञ्चोपादानस्कन्धाः — The Five Aggregates of Clinging
Sanskrit
तत्र भिक्षवः कतमे पञ्चोपादानस्कन्धाः ?
Translation
In that regard, monks, what are the five aggregates of clinging?
Sanskrit
तद्यथा-रूपोपादानस्कन्धः। वेदनोपादानस्कन्धः। संज्ञोपादानस्कन्धः। संस्कारोपादानस्कन्धः। विज्ञानोपादानस्कन्धः।
Translation
Namely: the aggregate of clinging to form, sensation, perception, mental formations, and consciousness.
Sanskrit
इमे भिक्षवः पञ्चोपादानस्कन्धाः॥
Translation
These, monks, are the five aggregates of clinging.
