Aparokshanubhuti Verse 106

Sanskrit

त्यागः प्रपञ्चरूपस्य चिदात्मत्वावलोकनात्। त्यागो हि महतां पूज्यः सद्यो मोक्षमयो यतः।।

Transliteration

Tyāgaḥ prapañcarūpasya cidātmatvāvalokanāt. Tyāgo hi mahatāṃ pūjyaḥ sadyo mokṣamayo yataḥ

Swami Vimuktananda's Translation

The abandonment of the illusory universe by realizing it as the all-conscious Atman is the real renunciation honored by the great, since it is of the nature of immediate liberation.
