Aparokshanubhuti Verse 69

Sanskrit

यथैव मृन्मयः कुम्भस्तद्वद्देहोऽपि चिन्मयः। आत्मानात्मविभागोऽयं मुधैव क्रियते बुधैः।।

Transliteration

Yathaiva mṛnmayaḥ kumbhastadvaddeho’pi cinmayaḥ. Ātmānātmavibhāgo’yaṃ mudhaiva kriyate budhaiḥ

Swami Vimuktananda's Translation

Just as a jar is all earth, so also is the body all consciousness. The division, therefore, into the Self and non-Self is made by the ignorant to no purpose.
