Aparokshanubhuti Verse 88

Sanskrit

सर्वमात्मतया ज्ञातं जगत्स्थावरजङ्गमम्। अभावात्सर्वभावानां देहानां चात्मता कुतः।।

Transliteration

Sarvamātmatayā jñātaṃ jagatsthāvarajaṅgamam. Abhāvātsarvabhāvānāṃ dehānāṃ cātmatā kutaḥ

Swami Vimuktananda's Translation

When the whole universe, movable and immovable, is known to be Atman, and thus the existence of everything else is negated, where is then any room to say that the body is Atman?
