Tattvabodha - Verse 4.0

Sanskrit

अवस्थात्रयं किम् ? जाग्रत्स्वप्नसुषुप्त्यवस्थाः ।

Transliteration

avasthātrayaṃ kim ? jāgratsvapnasuṣuptyavasthāḥ .

Translation

What are the three states [of consciousness]? They are the waking, dreaming, and deep sleep states.
