Vedantasara - Verse 140

Sanskrit

एतानि शब्दादिविषयसहितानि पञ्चीकृतानि भूतानि सूक्ष्मशरीरजातं चैतत्सर्वमेतेषां कारणरूपापञ्चीकृतभूतमात्रं भवति

Swami Nikhilananda's Translation

These five gross elements, together with the five objects such as sound etc., and the subtle bodies – all these are reduced to their cause – the uncompounded elements.
