Vedantasara - Verse 179

Sanskrit

तदुक्तं - “बुद्धितत्स्थचिदाभासौ द्वावपि व्याप्नुतो घटम् । तत्राज्ञानं धिया नश्येदाभासेन घटः स्फुरेत् ॥” इति । (पञ्चदशी ७.९१)

Swami Nikhilananda's Translation

Thus it has been said: “Both the intellect and the Consciousness underlying it come into contact with the jar. The intellect destroys the ignorance (regarding the jar) and the underlying Consciousness manifests the jar” (Panchadasi VII-91).
