प्रकरणप्रतिपाद्यस्याद्वितीयवस्तुनः प्रमाणान्तरा- विषयीकरणमपूर्वता । यथा तत्रैवाद्वितीयवस्तुनो मानान्तराविषयीकरणम्

Swami Nikhilananda's Translation

Originality means that the subject-matter of a section is not available through any other source of knowledge. As, for instance, in that very section, Brahman, the One without a second, is not knowable through any other means except the Srutis.
