Vedantasara - Verse 43

Sanskrit

एतदुपहितं चैतन्यमल्पज्ञत्वानीश्वरत्वादिगुणकं प्राज्ञ इत्युच्यत एकाज्ञानावभासकत्वात्

Swami Nikhilananda's Translation

Consciousness associated with this has limited knowledge and is devoid of the power of lordship; it is called Prajna on account of its being the illuminator of individual ignorance.
