Verse 28.23

त्वं सुन्दरी नृपतिजातिजितस्त्वमम्बा
धूमावती त्वमजरे भुवनेश्वरी त्वम् ।
काली त्वमीश्वरि शुकार्भकधारिणी त्वं
तारा त्वमाश्रितविपद्दलनासिधारा ॥ २८.२३॥

त्वम् (You) सुन्दरी (Tripura Sundari) नृपति-जाति-जितः (Conqueror of the warrior race/Renuka) त्वम्-अम्बा (You are Mother) धूमावती (Dhumavati) त्वम्-अजरे (You are the ageless) भुवनेश्वरी (Bhuvaneshwari) त्वम् (You) काली (Kali) त्वम्-ईश्वरि (You are the Goddess) शुक-अर्भक-धारिणी (Holder of the parrot-child/Matangi) त्वम् (You) तारा (Tara) त्वम्-आश्रित-विपत्-दलना (crusher of the calamities of those who take refuge) असि-धारा (the edge of the sword).

Translation

You are Sundari (the Beautiful), the Mother who conquered the warrior clans; You are the ageless Dhumavati and Bhuvaneshwari; You are Kali, O Goddess, and Matangi who holds the parrot; You are Tara, the sharp edge of the sword that crushes the misfortunes of those who seek Your shelter.


Verse 28.24

त्वं भैरवी भगवती बगलामुखी त्वं
रामा च सा कमलकाननचारिणी त्वम् ।
कैलासवासिनयनामृतभानुरेखे
को वेद ते जननि जन्मवतां विभूतीः ॥ २८.२४॥

Word-by-word

त्वम् (You) भैरवी (Bhairavi) भगवती (the Blessed One) बगलामुखी (Bagalamukhi) त्वम् (You) रामा (Rama/Lakshmi) (and) सा (that) कमल-कानन-चारिणी (Dweller in the forest of lotuses/Kamala) त्वम् (You) कैलास-वासि-नयन-अमृत-भानु-रेखे (The ray of the moon which is nectar to the eyes of the dweller of Kailasa/Shiva) कः (who) वेद (knows) ते (Your) जननि (O Mother) जन्म-वताम् (of those born/mortals) विभूतीः (manifestations/glories).

Translation

You are Bhairavi, the Goddess Bagalamukhi, and the lovely Lakshmi who wanders in the lotus forest; O Mother, You are the nectar-ray of the moon to Shiva’s eyes—among mortals, who can truly know the extent of Your divine glories?
