निर्माय विश्वालयमम्ब शर्व-
त्वया समं शिल्पविदा स शिल्पी ।
विहर्तुमिच्छन्नयि वोढुमैच्छ-
न्नारीं भवन्तीं पुरुषो भवंस्त्वाम् ॥ ५.९॥

Word-by-word

निर्माय (Having created) विश्वालयम् (the universe-abode) अम्ब (O Mother) शर्वः (Lord Shiva) त्वया समम् (along with You) शिल्पविदा (the expert artisan) सः शिल्पी (that Architect) विहर्तुम्-इच्छन् (desiring to sport/play) अयि (O!) वोढुम्-ऐच्छत् (desired to wed/unite) नारीम्-भवन्तीम् (You becoming the Woman) पुरुषः-भवन् (He becoming the Man) त्वाम् (You).

Translation

O Mother, after building this vast mansion of the universe together with You—the master artisan—that Supreme Architect (Shiva), desiring to enjoy the cosmic play within it, wished to wed You; He assumed the form of the Man, and You became the Woman.
