Mundaka Upanishad Verse 1.1.9

Sanskrit

यः सर्वज्ञः सर्वविद्यस्य ज्ञानमयं तापः । तस्मादेतद्ब्रह्म नाम रूपमन्नं च जायाते ॥ ९ ॥

Transliteration

yaḥ sarvajñaḥ sarvavidyasya jñānamayaṃ tāpaḥ | tasmādetadbrahma nāma rūpamannaṃ ca jāyāte || 9 ||

Translation

From the Brahman who knows all and everything of all, and whose tapas is in the nature of knowledge, this Brahma (Hiranyagarbha), name, form and food are produced.
