Shvetashvatara Upanishad Verse 10

Sanskrit

भावात् भूयश्चान्ते विश्वमायानिवृत्तिः ॥ १०॥

Transliteration

kṣaraṃ pradhānamamṛtākṣaraṃ haraḥ kṣarātmānāvīśate deva ekaḥ | tasyābhidhyānādyojanāttattvabhāvāt bhūyaścānte viśvamāyānivṛttiḥ || 10 ||

Translation

Matter is perishable (Kshara), but the Lord (Hara) is immortal and imperishable. The one God rules over both the perishable matter and the individual soul. By meditating on Him, by uniting with Him, and by becoming one with His essence, there is at the end the cessation of all universal illusion (Maya).
