वर्णास्ताम्र सितातिरक्त हरित व्यापीत चित्रासिता । वह्न्यम्ब्वग्निजकेशवेन्द्रशचिकाः सूर्यादिनाथाः क्रमात् । प्रागाद्यारविशुक्रलोहिततमःसौरेन्दुवित्सूरयः क्षीणेन्द्वर्कमहीसुतार्कतनयाः पापा बुधस्तैर्युतः ॥ ५॥
Transliteration
varṇāstāmra sitātirakta harita vyāpīta citrāsitā | vahnyambvagnijakeśavendraśacikāḥ sūryādināthāḥ kramāt | prāgādyāraviśukralohitatamaḥsaurenduvitsūrayaḥ kṣīṇendvarkamahīsutārkatanayāḥ pāpā budhastairyutaḥ || 5||

Translation
The metallic colors of the planets starting from the Sun are: copper, white, deep red, green, yellow, variegated, and black. Their ruling deities are Agni, Varuna, Kartikeya, Vishnu, Indra, Shachi, and Brahma. Their directions starting from East are Sun, Venus, Mars, Rahu, Saturn, Moon, Mercury, and Jupiter. Malefics include the Sun, Mars, Saturn, and the waning Moon, plus Mercury when associated with them.
