The Isha Upanishad is one of the shortest and most significant Upanishads, forming the final chapter (Adhyaya) of the Shukla Yajurveda. It derives its name from the opening word “Isha,” meaning “the Lord.” The text emphasizes the pervasiveness of the Divine throughout the cosmos and provides a profound synthesis of action (Karma) and knowledge (Jnana).
